Life exists on the edge of your comfort zone! Explore the physics and physiology of flight in this fun and challenging workshop
One of the most fundamental yet challenging parts of the practice, learning to 'float back' and 'glide through' can seem impossible.
I remember my own excuses “my legs are too heavy” or “my arms are too short”. I had convinced myself I would never get off the ground and jump back… Until I did!
In this workshop we will breakdown the physics and physiology of the jumping's and explore useful techniques to make the impossible possible. During this energizing and fun session you will learn why the jump back's and jump trough's are such important movements and how to transform the way you move to enable mastery of these seemingly impossible feats of anti-gravity.
Some experience of Ashtanga Vinyasa or Vinyasa Yoga is advised

"I attended the jump through jump back workshop and it was pretty awesome. Chris put everyone at ease and has us laughing throughout. So much to learn and loved how Chris started at the basics and then we were able to grow from there. Was intense at times but a good intense. I couldn't do it very well (well not at all) but the support was amazing. Going to continue my practice and will definitely be attending more workshops and classes. A great day"
"Chris delivered a really informative workshop on the jumping back, jumping through technique. There is so much to master in what always appears to be an effortless, fluid movement when properly executed. The entire sequence was dissected and expertly explained with plenty of tips, guidance, humour and encouragement. An enjoyable and exhausting way to spend 3 hours in a lovely studio. Thank you!"
"As someone new to Ashtanga I felt Chris made the workshop very accessible and explained the theory behind the practice very clearly. There was a good mix of knowledge and fun thrown our way so the three hours flew by"
